Chair, East of England Citizens' Senate. Patient & Public Voice Partner for NHS England. Representing the patient voice in local, regional and national health organisations and Programmes.
Having retired in 2008, I now spend much of my time working for several voluntary charitable organisations. As a heart failure patient, I became an Advocate for the British Heart Foundation and have been involved in many campaigns to raise awareness of the risks and causes of chronic heart disease. As Co-Chair for the East of England Citizens’ Senate, I am passionate about using my voice and patient experience to improve services and outcomes for all patients with long-term conditions.
