About Me
Ann lives in Woodbridge, Suffolk. She is a retired teacher of dance. Ann is the Co-Chair of the NHS Ipswich & East Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group Community Engagement Partnership and is a member of the Patient Participation Group at her local surgery where she has played a key role in organising three Surgery Awareness Days which focused on ‘Dementia’, ‘Being well, staying well’ and ‘Healthy Heart’.
Ann has been trained by the Kings Fund on public patient involvement and leading for change.
Ann is a member of Toastmasters International, a worldwide public speaking and leadership organisation. She is now applying her speaking skills to telling her patient story to trainee Nurses and other staff at Ipswich Hospital.
