About Me

Michael had a career in Education. Initially as a teacher working with young people with severe emotional and behavioural disorders in a Secure Unit and 4 Special Schools, two of which were residential. In two of these schools he was Headteacher. Michael finished his career as an Assistant Director of Education in a large northern unitary authority. Since retiring Michael has been active in his local area in health. He is secretary of his local Patient Participation Group. He has been involved with the Ipswich & East Suffolk CCG in developing co-production and social prescribing. He has completed the Citizens Senate Leading for Change Course delivered by the Kings Fund.
